Sarah Flora

Sarah brings a unique blend of communication expertise and advanced feline care knowledge to the Cat Care Clinic. She earned her B.A. in Communications from the University of Iowa and later pursued her passion for veterinary medicine by completing her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology at Kirkwood Community College.

Sarah holds multiple professional certifications, including a Fear Free Elite Certification, her Cat Friendly Certified Professional status, and her RECOVER Veterinary CPR (Basic and Advanced) certification. Her commitment to creating low-stress, feline-focused environments guides her leadership and the hospital’s approach to patient care. Sarah also serves as a Volunteer Instructor with the National Kitten Coalition, helping educate others on best practices in kitten care. Her blend of clinical knowledge, communication skill, and deep dedication to feline welfare makes her an invaluable part of the Cat Care Clinic team.
